Galvanization

Hot-dip Galvanization is the process of immersing iron or steel in a bath of molten zinc to produce a corrosion resistant, multi-layered coating of zinc-iron alloy and zinc metal on the surface of the part.

Azady has two Galvanization plants different in size. The Zinc bath of the first plant, which was built in 2007, is ( 6 x 0,7 x 2 ) meters. Due to the high demand on Azady’s galvanized products from private and public sectors, the second hot-dip galvanization plant was built with larger dimensions and capacity in order to cover larger items. The second galvanization plant is (12 x 1,5 x 3) meters, and is capable of galvanizing (35000) ton of steel per year.

In order to ensure the highest quality, Azady’s galvanization meets all the standard requirements of American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM, A123) which makes the coated steel product last very long in all harsh and extreme environments.
